This note explains how I handle information on blastersoftheuniverse.com. I am Alberto Porter, and I keep this site small on purpose. I read every message myself, I store as little as I can, and I never sell names or emails.

What I collect

When you write to me through the contact page or by email, I see your name, your email address, and whatever you put in the message. If you leave a comment, I see the name you typed, your message, and basic spam-check signals. I do not ask for phone numbers, home addresses, or passwords, and I do not want them in messages.

Apart from that, I see ordinary visit counts. Browser family, device shape, pages opened, time spent. I use these tallies to learn which guides help and which ones sit unread. I do not link these tallies to your name.

Cookies in plain words

I use a few cookies to keep the site working. They remember if you closed a notice, they keep spam filters honest, and they help me count visits without names. You can block cookies in your browser. Parts of the layout may look rough then, but reading still works.

How I use what you send

  • To answer your note and fix numbers you flag with a clip or a screenshot.
  • To learn which maps, guns and modes need fresh guides next Friday.
  • To keep spam and abuse off comments so readers can argue about lanes in peace.

I do not build profiles, I do not trade lists, and I do not send newsletters you never asked for. One message from you earns one answer from me, nothing more.

How I keep notes safe

Messages live in my mailbox and in the site backup. I use strong passwords, current software, and as few plugins as I can. No lock is perfect, but I patch fast and I keep copies small so a leak has little to take.

Who else sees anything

No one buys my logs because I do not sell them. My host stores files so pages load, spam filters scan comments so bots stay out. That is the whole chain. If law asks for records in writing, I follow law and I tell you when law lets me tell.

Changes to this note

I may edit this page when I change how I count visits or answer mail. I will bump the date and keep wording plain. Come back now and then. By reading on, you accept this version.

How long I keep messages

I keep emails as long as the thread stays useful, usually a season. Backups roll over every few weeks, so deleted notes fade out on their own. Comment records stay with the post unless you ask me to wipe them.

Ask for deletion any time at the inbox below with the subject Delete. I confirm within a week and I do not keep shadow copies. Logs with no names age out even faster.

How to reach me
